A private therapeutic sound session offers a unique experience that guides you toward deep relaxation and personal well-being. This session lasts about ninety minutes total, with a full hour dedicated to the actual sound journey. All sessions take place in my private studio, located right in downtown Melbourne. We start each session with a short intake to identify and set the intention for your time with me. This conversation helps me fully understand your specific needs and overall well-being, which leads to a sound experience perfectly aligned with your needs. To help you settle in and be ready for the meditative sound journey, we’ll begin with a short guided meditation. My approach to sound healing blends ancient wisdom with modern wellness, shaped by my training in sound therapy and a shamanic apprenticeship that profoundly guided my practice. This allows me to create a unique and deeply personal sound experience for you. During your session, I thoughtfully use a variety of instruments, such as Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, tuning forks, and the monochord. The extended time allows your body and mind to gradually settle, making it easier to enter deeper meditative states and experience the full effects of the sound. This session is appropriate for those who are new to therapeutic sound as well as those who already have experience with energy-based practices. After a session, clients often report a deep sense of calm, improved relaxation, and feeling lighter and more clear. Many also notice improved sleep in the days that follow. From an energetic perspective, therapeutic sound is often used to support chakra balancing and the release of stagnant energy within the body’s energy centers. The result is frequently described as a greater sense of inner harmony and overall balance.
